The Lodge at Thurnby

The Lodge at Thurnby is a care home based just outside of Leicester. They offer a range of diverse types of care and have specialists dedicated to supporting everyone. With a lovely garden and recreational area, The Lodge provides 24-hour care to 32 older people. The Lodge also provides ample parking for visitors onsite.  

The Solution

Go Zero installed a solution that utilizes The Lodge’s existing parking spaces and creates a sustainable revenue stream. With a 22Kw EV charger installed, visitors and the public can now charge their EVs while they visit. With our Go Zero software The Lodge has complete control over who charges and how much visitors are charged. 

The Results

With the Lodges current EV charging setup, they can service any EV that needs a quick top-up while creating an extra passive revenue stream for the home. This also highlights Thurnby Lodge and Go Zero’s commitment to net zero and positions the Lodge to support its visitors as more EVs take the road.
